Workout for Plus Size Beginners: 50 to 50 Workout

Our workout for plus size beginners in February 2017 is a 50 to 50 workout. All you need for this one is a sturdy step to step up onto – most people will have a step of some kind inside or outside their house.

As with all exercise, if it’s been a while since you were physically active or you have any health concerns, please check with your doctor to make sure they are happy for you to increase your activity. In most cases, they will encourage you to start moving more but it’s always been to get the okay for your unique set of circumstances.

Plus Size Workout of the Month: The Instructions

As the name 50 to 50 suggests, you’ll be starting out with 50 reps of an exercise and by the end you’ll be back doing 50 reps of an exercise.

Work your way down the list, taking your time to make sure you complete the exercises with good form. If you can’t do them all in one hit the first time around, it’s okay. Take a little breather or drink break and finish the rest before moving on to the next exercise.

If you want to do more once you’ve gotten through it all, why not try inverting the whole workout and going from 10 to 10?

  • 50 Front Kicks
  • 40 Stick Ups
  • 30 Step Ups
  • 20 Push Ups
  • 10 Walk Out Burpees
  • 1 minute plank
  • 10 Walk Out Burpees
  • 20 Push Ups
  • 30 Step Ups
  • 40 Stick Ups
  • 50 Front Kicks
